I’m a painter, photographer and interdisciplinary writer working across image, text and the body. I practice through feminist autotheory and an ongoing interest in what happens when the private becomes public. I use my own experiences, relationships and embodied life as material to ask questions about how we come to understand personhood and individuality.
I’m interested in the places where documentation slips into fiction, where intimacy becomes performance and where the body becomes both evidence and a site of investigation. I move between painting, photography and writing because no single medium feels sufficient for the contradictions I’m trying to hold. My work is an attempt to stay with those contradictions and to make something out of the tender spaces between living and looking.
