Devotion

Devotion is a photographic and written project that investigates embodiment, intimacy and the loss of a singular self. Through these series of five active interaction between two people, I look at what it means to be known and made through another body, and what is left when the boundary between self and other dissolves. This project is made up of two written essays and 782 film negatives. It is a continuing body of work. These photos would not have been possible without the extensive technical direction of Chase M. Munsey.
